BETA on kokeellisille ja keskeneräisille teoksille tarkoitettu elävän taiteen areena. Se on eri taiteen muodoille avoin tila, joka toteutetaan vuoden aikojen mukaan eri ympäristöissä. Perustavana ideana on rohkaista tekijäyhteisöä avoimempaan keskusteluun kehitysvaiheessa olevista teoksista. BETA-konsepti on kolmen turkulaistaiteilijan Antti Jussilan, Jari Kallion ja Anna Torkkelin ideoima.
XS Vol.3 -festivaalin BONUS BETAn esiintyjinä ovat Hannu – Ihminen ja ukulele, Jouni Järvenpää, Jari Kallio, Mümmö sekä Tukkasotkat ja Elina Minn. Esitysten jälkeen XS-party ja Gayborhood Dj’t!!

XS Vol.3 – Uuden tanssin ja esitystaiteen festivaali 23.-27.11.2011 on Ehkä-tuotantoa yhteistyössä BETAn, B-gallerian, Läntisen tanssin aluekeskuksen ja Pentagonin kanssa. Tapahtumaa on tukenut Valtion tanssitaidetoimikunta.

BONUS BETA Performance Soiree & XS-party
BETA is an arena for experimental and unfinished live-art. It is an open space for different art forms taking place in various environments according to the season. The primary idea is to encourage the artists to a more open conversation about their works in progress. BETA is a concept created by three Turku based artists Antti Jussila, Jari Kallio and Anna Torkkel.
