I believe that we are having a dialogue on tanssiteos, joka ammentaa yhdessäolon yksinkertaisesta, mutta samalla monimutkaisesta käsitteestä. Tanssijat ovat näyttämöllä, liikkuvat ja puhuvat – neuvottelevat yhdessäolon ja yhteistyön ehdoista. Teoksen syntyprosessiin viitaten tekijät näkevät projektin sosiaalisena kokeiluna ja esityksen tämän kokeen abstraktiona. Teos kantaesitettiin Valvesalissa Oulussa maaliskuussa 2012.

Anne-Mareike Hess and Sandra Lolax: I believe that we are having a dialogue
I believe that we are having a dialogue is a dance performance that emphasizes on the simple yet complex notion of being together. Two dancers are on stage, moving and speaking – negotiating the conditions for co-existence and collaboration. Referring to their process the makers see the project as a social experiment and the performance as an abstraction of that test. I believe that we are having a dialogue premiered in Valvesali, Oulu in March 2012.
