Antti Tolvi: (QI)GONG Äänikylpy: ”Vesi” TÄYNNÄ!

Muinoin qigongia 气功 kutsuttiin nimellä Dao Yin 導引, joka tarkoittaa suomeksi qin virtauksen ohjaamista. Qi on taolainen metafyysinen käsite kaikkeuden koostumuksesta.

Kaksituntinen työpaja on avoin kaikille kiinnostuneille eikä vaadi aiempaa kokemusta.

Antti Tolvi: (QI)GONG Sound Bath: “Water” FULLY BOOKED!

In ancient times qigong 气功 was called Dao Yin 導引. Dao Yin is defined as directing the flow of qi. Qi is a Taoist metaphysical concept for the consistency of the universe, the word gong means practice. The Chinese character 鑼 instead translates as sound which is coming out of a percussion instrument gong.

Gong can be thought of as the sun. It symbolizes the universe and represents the pristine silence and the possibility of evolution/creation. The sound of gong makes the first movement of infinity. Its vibrations are the life currents of all forms, beings, and thoughts that already exist or can exist. With a single stroke of a mallet gong radiates life across a spectrum of frequencies, from the big bang to time when the universe quiets down. Sound of the gong tunes the cells in the body towards the great harmony (Taiji), and leads into a floating state. This state gives a great possibility to heal, open, relax, and release from over thinking – to stimulate the body and mind to return to a natural harmony.

The (QI)GONG Sound Bath: “Water” workshop, directed by Antti Tolvi, combines silent movement and vibrating sound from qigong to gong. The exercises following the Chan Mi Gong (secret Zen practice) style release effectively tension in the body and mind, and activate the inner circulation of qi. The two-hour workshop is open to everyone interested. No prior knowledge or training is required.
