Helmikuussa 2026 Ehkä-tuotanto käynnisti taiteilija Even Minnin toteuttaman sarjakuvasarjan, jossa havainnollistetaan Ehkä-tuotannon toimintaa, arvoja ja toimintatapoja.
Ehkä-tuotanto on vuonna 2004 perustettu vapaan kentän yhteisö, toimija ja työnantaja. Ehkä edistää epäkaupallista, omaehtoista ja kokeilevaa taidetta osatuottamalla uuden tanssin ja esitystaiteen tekijöiden teoksia ja työskentelyä. Yhteisö kuratoi ja ylläpitää vuonna 2009 perustamaansa poikkitaiteellista Nykytaidetila Kutomoa Turussa.

2. En ole koskaan käynyt Ehkän pyörittämällä Kutomolla, mutta olen kuullut siitä paljon hyvää… Taidanpa laittaa hakemuksen sisään!
3. Minulla on loistava esitysidea, teatteria ja sirkusta yhdistävä teos… käsittelee ilmastonmuutosta…
4. Tuomme lavalle 1000 kg sulavaa jäätä, 16 esiintyjää tekevät ilma-akrobatiaa ja tulishown…
5. Sinne meni hakemus, nyt toivotaan parasta!
6. 2 kuukautta myöhemmin kuraattori lukee hakemuksen. Vaikuttaa siltä ettei hakija hahmota mihin on hakemassa… Ei meillä ole resursseja toteuttaa näin isoa tuotantoa… Eikä tämä muutenkaan kuulosta meidän jutulta
7. Ota selvää mihin haet. Tutustu ohjelmistoon ja aiemmin tuettuihin hankkeisiin. Arvioi sopiiko ajatuksesi Ehkän tarjoamiin puitteisiin ja hakuehtoihin. Näin parannat mahdollisuuttasi tulla valituksi ja säästät kaikkien työaikaa!

In February 2026, Ehkä-production launched artist Even Minn’s comic series illustrating Ehkä’s activities, values, and working methods.
Founded in 2004, Ehkä-production is an independent arts community, producer, and employer operating in the free art field. Ehkä promotes non-commercial, singular, and experimental art by co-producing works in new dance and performance. The community curates and manages Contemporary Art Space Kutomo in Turku, Finland, an interdisciplinary art venue established in 2009.

1. Ehkä-production’s Open call is open!
2. I’ve never actually been to Kutomo, run by Ehkä, but I’ve heard so many good things about it… I think I might just send in an application!
3. I have a great idea for a performance, a piece combining theatre and circus… It deals with climate change…
4. We’ll bring 1,000 kilos of melting ice onto the stage, and 16 performers will present aerial acrobatics and a fire show…
5. And the application is in, now we’re hoping for the best!
6. Two months later, the curator reads the application. It seems the applicant doesn’t quite understand what they’re applying for… We simply don’t have the resources to realise a production of this scale… And, to be honest, it doesn’t really feel like our kind of project anyway.
7. Do your research before applying. Take time to familiarise yourself with the programme and previously supported projects. Consider whether your idea truly fits the framework and criteria offered by Ehkä. That way, you’ll improve your chances of being selected — and save everyone a lot of time in the process!
