Pariisissa työskentelevä tanssitaiteilija Inari Salmivaara esittää osana XS Vol.3 -festivaalin ohjelmistoa uusimman sooloteoksensa I am lying.
I am lying -teoksen lähtökohtana on makaava keho. Esitys kertoo tarinan pienestä yhteisöstä, joka elää tässä kehossa. Soolo on saanut inspiraationsa tieteiskirjallisuudesta ja sen kaltaisesti se yrittää vapautua esityksen ja teatterin ajallisista ja tilallisista rajoitteista. Kehyskertomuksen mukana keho muuntuu eri rooleihin ja ulottuvuuksiin. Soolo leikkii mielikuvitteellisilla mahdollisuuksilla ja liikuttaa makaavaa kehoa.

Inari Salmivaara: I am lying
As part of the XS Vol.3 Festival program Paris based dance artist Inari Salmivaara presents her new solo performance I am lying.
The solo performance departs from a lying body and builds an imaginative story around it. The dancer narrates a short story of the little community that lives on the lying body. Performance is inspired by the science fiction novels and likewise attempts to move beyond the temporal and spatial limitations of performance and theater. The frame story allows the audience perceive the body in varies roles and dimensions. The solo plays with the imaginitive potential of things and creates movement out of a still body.
