Tanssitaiteilija Diina Bukarevan sooloteos Chilling & lipstick tarkastelee cooliuden kehollista ilmenemistä ja itsevarmuutta. Liikkeen ja kehon muotoja, rytmejä sekä energiaa ja virtausta tutkailemalla esitys tähtää katu-uskottavuuden hahmottamiseen ajan ja paikallisuuden ylittävällä tasolla.

XS Vol.7: Diina Bukareva: Chilling & lipstick
Is it cool to lean back? Would it be cooler to button your jeans up to the waist or hang them loosely on the hips? What is the difference between male and female coolness?
Dance artist Diina Bukareva’s solo performance Chilling & lipstick looks at how cool is performed through the physical presence of an individual in everyday social interaction. Addressing the theme from the perspectives of history and popular culture the work digs into the notion of self-confidence demonstrated through bodily postures, gestures and movement. Examining how form and rhythm patterns are used in the flow of energy and movement the performance attempts to perceive the essence of street credibility across time periods and various locations.
