Yoshi Omori: Qi gong

Opetuskieli on englanti.

Yoshi Omori on harjoittanut Qi gongia yli 15 vuoden ajan.

Yoshi Omori: Qi gong

Qi gong is a practice of aligning breath, movement, awareness of exercise, healing and meditation. Qi gong is traditionally seen as a practice of cultivating and balancing qi (chi), “intrinsic life energy”. The exercise consists of three components: posture (whether moving or stationary), breathing techniques and mental focus on guiding qi through the body. The prerequisite is a calm, relaxed state of mind.

Yoshi Omori’s Qi gong workshop is in the style called “silk reeling” where slow and fast movements and bursts of powerful motion alternate. The exercises work with yin and yang, the full and the empty, the right and the left. The energy work finishes with singing ball meditation, which helps to find calm of body and mind.

The workshop is open to everyone interested. You can sign up to participate once or twice a weekend. The workshop is given in English.

Yoshi Omori has practiced Qi gong for over 15 years.
